Widgets and live activities
The native iOS app can show selected information outside the app. Widgets provide a quick view of your day. A live activity keeps an active focus timer visible.
Add a widget
- Touch and hold an empty area on the iPhone or iPad Home Screen.
- Open the widget gallery.
- Search for meinsystem.
- Choose an available size and add the widget.
Open the app at least once after installation. Widgets need current data supplied by the app and may update with a delay.
Live activity for the focus timer
When you start a focus timer in the iOS app, the remaining time can appear on the Lock Screen and, on supported devices, in the Dynamic Island. Pausing, ending or completing the timer is reflected in the active timer.
Whether live activities are visible depends on the iOS version, device and system settings.
If information is out of date
Open the iOS app, wait for the daily view to update and return to the Home Screen. Also check whether background app refresh and live activities are allowed for meinsystem.
