Appointments

Appointments are fixed points in your calendar. They include external commitments such as a doctor’s appointment or meeting, as well as blocks you set yourself, such as “Morning routine starts at 8:30 am.”

The difference from a routine is flexibility: routines can move within your day, while appointments have a fixed time. You can still give a routine an appointment if you want to anchor it at the same time every day.

Connect Google Calendar

With the Pro version, you can connect your Google Calendar. External events then appear directly in your day view alongside your routines, so everything is visible in one place.

Avoid planning every minute

A full calendar can quickly feel overwhelming. Leave buffers. A 2:00 pm appointment needs time before and after for arriving, preparing and recovering.

If appointments create anxiety

Many people with ADHD or autism experience strong tension before appointments. That response is understandable, and you are not alone.

Things that can help:

  • Plan the appointment as concretely as possible, including travel, duration and what to bring.
  • Create a short routine for the period before it—for example, pack your bag and check the route thirty minutes beforehand.
  • Set reminders in the calendar and as notifications.

You do not have to hold every detail in your head. That is what the system is for.
