Energy check-in for ADHD, autism and AuDHD

A quick check-in. Without pressure.

The daily check-in gently asks about your energy, mood and an optional note. Morning, midday and evening entries create a record that shows more of your day than a task list alone.

Why it helps

Stop guessing how much is possible today.

Energy becomes visible

The battery makes capacity tangible. You do not have to explain why less is possible today.

Mood stays separate from energy

High energy and a tense mood can exist at the same time. The check-in records them separately.

A day-by-day record grows

Look back at what was happening on a day without having to write long journal entries.

Everyday use

Small check-ins instead of lengthy self-analysis.

The daily check-in is for days when you do not need another large reflection ritual. One energy level, one mood and one note. It does not have to be more.

1

Estimate your capacity in the morning before the day fills up

2

Reassess at midday when your energy differs from what you expected

3

Briefly reflect in the evening on what mattered today

4

Notice patterns later without having to remember every day

Questions

Common questions about the daily check-in.

Is the daily check-in a journal?

It is deliberately smaller than a traditional journal. You record energy, mood and an optional short note. Over time, those entries still create a calm record.

Do I have to check in three times a day?

No. Morning, midday and evening are the default, but every check-in remains an invitation. You can adjust times and reminders.

What happens when my energy is low?

The first version keeps that information visible in your history. It can help you plan less, leave more room and notice patterns over time.
