Apple Watch
The Apple Watch app is part of the native iOS app. It provides a compact selection for situations where you do not want to open your iPhone first.
What you can use on the Watch
- view the current daily plan with routines, appointments and todos
- complete supported entries and routine steps
- open outstanding todos and create a todo
- use lists and checklists
- start a focus timer
- see information through supported watch-face complications
The Watch is not a complete copy of the iPhone app. Continue to set up and make extensive edits on your iPhone or in the web app.
Installation and first sync
- Install the iOS app on the paired iPhone.
- Open the Watch app on your iPhone and install meinsystem on the Apple Watch if automatic installation is disabled.
- Open the iPhone app first, then the Watch app.
- Keep both apps open briefly during the first sync.
Under Settings → Apple Watch, the iPhone app shows the connection status and whether a daily plan has been transferred.
If the Watch shows nothing
Check that iPhone and Watch are paired, both apps are up to date and the Watch app has been opened at least once. Then reopen the iPhone app so it can transfer a fresh version.
A temporarily unreachable Watch can show the most recently transferred data. New changes and a complete sync require a connection to the iPhone or account again.
See Troubleshooting and support for more checks.
