Connect calendars

meinsystem.app distinguishes between external appointments you read in your daily flow and your own entries that you export as copies to a calendar.

Calendars on this device (iOS and Android)

Open Settings → Calendars → Calendars on this device. Add Google as a calendar account on iPhone/iPad, or enable calendar sync for the account on Android. The calendars must be available in the system calendar. Allow MeinSystem calendar access; on iOS, full access is required.

Select one or more calendars under Show in the daily flow. Nothing is selected initially. Local access works with Free, Lifetime and PRO, including iCloud and other system calendars. The app refreshes on startup, on return and through the refresh action. Previously loaded events remain available offline; the operating system handles Google sync. Revoking permission keeps the last local cache and shows an access error.

Optionally choose a writable calendar for selected MeinSystem appointments and routines. Enable export to the same calendar on only one device. MeinSystem remains the source; external edits are not imported back. Disconnecting the export target removes only linked MeinSystem exports from this device, not other events or the reading selection.

Local display does not automatically upload calendar content to MeinSystem servers. PRO can explicitly enable web display; turning it off stops new uploads without deleting existing cloud copies. If the same calendar is also connected directly, confirm the source match to hide its direct copy on this device. Edit other events in the calendar app.

Google Calendar

The direct Google Calendar connection through MeinSystem is a Pro feature. Once connected, you can show selected Google calendars as read-only entries in your daily flow. You can also choose a target calendar for exports from meinsystem.app.

Edit a Google event you are reading in Google Calendar itself. Routine steps and linked lists are not exported to external calendars.

Outlook and Microsoft 365

The direct Outlook.com connection through MeinSystem is a Pro feature. Once connected, you can show your own Outlook.com events as read-only entries in your daily flow. You can also choose a target calendar for exports from meinsystem.app.

Edit an Outlook event you are reading in Outlook itself. Routine steps and linked lists are not exported to external calendars.

Time zone

Your account time zone controls how times are displayed and exported. Your device can suggest a time zone, but it does not change it automatically while you travel. When you switch time zones, entered clock times stay the same; existing calendar copies are updated during the next sync.

If a calendar is missing

Check the permission, selected read sources, export target and connection. Before disconnecting a calendar, check what should happen to existing copies. For more help, see Troubleshooting and support.
