Privacy and your data

Where your entries are stored depends on whether you use meinsystem.app locally or with a Pro account.

Free and Lifetime

In local mode, routines, appointments, todos, goals, lists and check-ins stay on the device. They are not automatically transferred to an account or another device.

You are responsible for keeping a local backup safe. Otherwise, reinstalling the app or losing the device can remove local data.

Pro, web app and cloud sync

With Pro, required content is transferred over TLS and stored encrypted in the EU region Frankfurt. Content fields are encrypted with AES-256-GCM.

This is not end-to-end encryption. The application system needs to process content for features such as display, sync, reminders, exports and calendar connections.

Who can see your entries?

Your entries are not public. Other users cannot see them. During normal operation, personal content is not read manually and is not evaluated for advertising.

With your consent, usage events may be collected, such as which feature was opened. The intended analytics events contain no free text from routines, notes or goals. However, saving a check-in sends its energy level and flags indicating whether mood and a note are present. Onboarding details such as neurodivergence and support need may also be linked to your user ID. The privacy policy explains these potentially health-related details and consent.

External calendars and support

When you export to a calendar, only the details required for the copy are passed to the selected provider or device calendar. If you voluntarily send screenshots or content to support, they are used to handle your request.

Your control

You can create local backups, export account data and delete your account. The steps are explained under Backups, export and deletion.
