How everything fits together

You do not need every part of the app. Most people begin with one routine and a few steps. That is completely enough.

Here is the overview in case you want to understand how the pieces connect.

The core: a routine

A routine is a recurring part of your day, such as your morning routine. You define what happens once. In everyday life, the app shows you the next step. You look, do the step and mark it complete.

If this is all you use, you already have most of the value. Everything else can wait until you genuinely need it.

If you want more—everything is optional

Flows. A reusable sequence of steps, such as “Bathroom” or “Breakfast.” This is useful when the same steps appear in several routines. Until then, steps directly inside the routine are enough.

Goals. For things that take longer than one day. They give your actions direction, but they are not required when you begin.

Routine or flow?

This distinction confuses almost everyone at first. Here is the shortest explanation:

A routine says when something happens in the day, such as the morning routine.
A flow says exactly what happens, step by step, such as “Bathroom” or “Breakfast.”

The routine is the frame; the flow is the content. You can reuse the same flow in several routines without entering it again.

A complete example

  • Routine: Morning routine
  • Flow inside it: Bathroom (brush teeth, wash face, moisturise)
  • Appointment, optional: Every day at 7:30 am in the calendar

If this still feels unclear, simply create one routine and add steps to it. The rest will make more sense once you need it.
