AuDHD daily planner: combine fixed anchors with flexible capacity

This daily planner separates stable anchors from a flexible task pool. The day remains readable when energy, attention, or sensory capacity changes.

What this template addresses

A completely open day can require too many decisions, while a fully scheduled day can collapse after its first change. Both experiences can alternate in AuDHD life.

This template fixes appointments, basic care, and transitions first. Optional tasks are selected from a small pool only when real capacity becomes visible.

Not a test or a diagnosis

This template is based on personal experience. It does not replace medical or therapeutic advice.

Adapt the template

  • Separate fixed anchors clearly from optional tasks.
  • Treat travel and task switching as real time blocks.
  • Keep the flexible pool small enough for a quick choice.
  • Replan from now instead of catching up with an ideal day.

Common questions

Why is this AuDHD planner not scheduled hour by hour?

Fixed anchors provide orientation while open capacity can respond to changing attention, energy, and sensory demand. A rigid grid can be too fragile for that.

How many tasks belong in the flexible pool?

Two or three concrete options are often enough. A longer list creates more prioritisation work and can stay outside the daily plan.

Can I change individual steps?

Yes. Change, add, check off, copy, or print any step.
