A fair selection guide · updated on October 3, 2026

Which app for AuDHD fits your daily life?

Five different planning models compared, with no universal winner. What matters is not the longest feature list, but which recurring friction a tool actually reduces for you.

Disclosure before the comparison

We develop meinsystem.app ourselves.

This page is therefore not an independent lab test. There is no affiliate commission, paid placement or invented overall winner. The selection compares five different planning models using publicly available official provider sources. We describe the limitations of our own product just as we do those of the others.

The most important first decision

Which friction should the app reduce first?

AuDHD describes the co-occurrence of autism and ADHD. It does not imply one interface that helps everyone. A visible timeline may feel reassuring, a guided routine may reduce decisions, and a project manager may reliably hold many open tasks. These are different jobs, not a quality ranking.

Five options, five areas of focus

Check honestly first

  • According to the FAQ, the web app requires an active trial or subscription; free app use does not include free web access.
  • AI features can be useful, but involve additional data processing and require a Pro plan.

Structured

Pricing model
Many features are free; Pro monthly, annually or as Lifetime, with regional pricing

Reasons to consider it

  • Tasks and imported calendar events sit on a visual timeline.
  • Weekly and monthly views complement daily planning.
  • Depending on the platform, Pro includes features such as recurring tasks, calendar import and custom notifications.

Check honestly first

  • According to the provider, Pro features differ across iOS, Android and web.
  • The timeline may be too lightweight for detailed project management or step sequences.

04 · Guided routines with timers

Routinery

Particularly suitable when
Starting a recurring sequence of steps and following it without new decisions in between

Mobile use on iOS and Android; check specific device features in the store
Pricing model
Free entry with optional Premium; check local store prices before purchasing

Reasons to consider it

  • Habits are arranged in a fixed order.
  • Time estimates and an active routine mode guide you from step to step.
  • A narrow focus on routines can be easier than a full project or daily planning system.

Check honestly first

  • A second tool may still be needed for extensive task projects, appointments and weekly planning.
  • Check the plan, platform features and optional functions directly in the current app store listing.

  • Quick task capture, recurring tasks, projects, filters and reminders.
  • Broad device support and integrations with calendars, email and other services.
  • Pro adds features including a calendar layout, task duration, and more projects and filters.

Check honestly first

  • Todoist focuses on tasks and projects rather than guided routines with individual steps in progress.
  • A large task structure can create more decision-making work unless you deliberately choose tasks for today.

Tiimo and meinsystem.app: what should you compare directly?

Both products are options for daily planning. The differences below come from official product and plan information. We have not tested Tiimo in the app ourselves for this comparison. These sources do not allow us to assess usability, reliability or sensory suitability.

Planning model

Tiimo
A visual timeline with tasks and a focus timer; the product page also shows AI task breakdown.
meinsystem.app
Routines with individual steps, appointments, tasks, goals and check-ins in a shared daily context.

Your check: Set up the same small routine, three tasks and one appointment. Check whether you can find the next step without replanning the day.

Getting started for free

Tiimo
Free entry with selected planning tools. The German FAQ lists iOS, while the English FAQ also includes Android; check the current features on your platform.
meinsystem.app
Free can be used locally in the iOS app without an account; the limits on the pricing page apply.

Your check: Distinguish a permanently free version from a time-limited subscription trial. Check the features before setting up.

Planning on a computer

Tiimo
According to the FAQ, the web planner requires an active trial or subscription.
meinsystem.app
The web app and cloud sync are part of Pro. Free and Lifetime are local native plans; Lifetime does not include the web app.

Your check: If you switch between phone and computer, check the required plan and the same task on both devices.

Devices and purchasing model

Tiimo
iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, Android and web; Pro as a monthly or annual subscription with regional pricing at checkout.
meinsystem.app
iPhone and iPad are available in the App Store; Android is in preparation. Pro is a subscription, while Lifetime is a local one-time purchase on one device.

Your check: Check the device you actually use first. A different plan does not make an unreleased Android app available.

Check the same situation in both apps

This protocol is for your own trial. It contains no results from an app test carried out by us. Start with fictional tasks and check the plan and cancellation terms before activating a paid subscription trial.

  1. Start a small routine

Use three concrete steps, such as picking up your bag, putting on your shoes and leaving home. Note how you start, complete a step and identify the next one.

  2. Return after an interruption

Interrupt after the first step and reopen the view later. Check whether you can see what is already done and what comes next. This is a question to test, not a claimed test result.

  3. Make the plan smaller

Leave out one optional task and move another. Note whether you can adjust the plan without rebuilding everything. Compare the same small section, not the total number of features.

After each run, note what was immediately clear, where you had to search and whether the smaller version fitted. Tiimo may also be the right tool for you. If you mainly want a timeline or already have a working plan, that alone gives you no reason to switch to meinsystem.app.

A quick shortlist

Start with your sticking point, not the app name.

I need a visible timeline for my day.

Try Tiimo and Structured first

Both make time and order visual. In everyday use, compare focus tools, calendar import, device coverage and the Pro features you need.

I lose my place in recurring routines.

Look at Routinery or meinsystem.app

Routinery focuses on the routine in progress. meinsystem.app also connects individual routines with appointments, tasks and the rest of the day.

My calendar, tasks and routines are scattered everywhere.

Explore an integrated daily context

meinsystem.app is designed to bring these together. What matters is whether the shared view actually reduces switching rather than simply showing more information.

I manage many tasks and projects across several devices.

Try Todoist first

Its task and project focus and broad device support suit this need. Deliberately plan how to choose a small selection for today from the full list.

A comparable seven-day test

Test the same real situation before moving everything.

  1. Day 0Choose a real morning or evening routine, three tasks and one appointment. Before starting a subscription trial, check when it ends and the cancellation deadline; do not wait until day 7.
  2. Day 1Set up only this small section. Stop after 15 minutes, even if you could do more.
  3. Days 2–5Use the structure without constantly rebuilding it. Note only friction with starting, returning and overdue items.
  4. Day 6Try a more difficult day or a smaller version that still serves its purpose.
  5. Day 7Decide whether to keep it, check something specific, or export and delete. Also review cancellation and data deletion.

This comparison cannot predict how you experience colors, movement, notifications or information density. It also does not replace your own privacy assessment of local use, cloud sync and AI features.

Scope and reliable sources

This page combines lived experience with general information. It does not replace diagnosis or treatment. Official health information is available from the German federal guides on ADHD and autism.

Common questions

What is the best app for AuDHD?

There is no universal winner. First choose the friction that regularly affects you most: an unclear order for your day, difficult routines, too many tasks or switching between several tools. Test no more than two suitable models using the same real part of your day.

Do I need a diagnosis to use these apps?

No. The tools compared here are general planning and organization products. They do not replace diagnosis or treatment, but can be tried as everyday tools independently of either.

Are there free apps for AuDHD?

All five products list a free way to get started or a free version. Features, device access and plan limits differ, however, and can change. Before setting up, check the current official pricing or store page.

Should I use one app or several?

As few as possible and as many as you need. If a specialized routine tool helps, a separate calendar can still have its place. If switching between apps regularly costs you context, an integrated daily plan may feel calmer.

How current are the pricing and platform details?

The initial selection was reviewed on September 28, 2026; Tiimo was last reviewed on October 3, 2026 and meinsystem.app on October 2, 2026. Each listing shows its review date. Prices, features and platform coverage can change; the current provider or store page is authoritative.
