How to use the worksheet
Clarify one agreement together
State the scope and finishing point
Start with one concrete action. Discuss what it includes and excludes. Writing someone’s name does not mean they accepted the task.
Choose a trigger and shared reference
Check that everyone can access the agreed note. Keep confidential details in approved tools. This personal worksheet does not synchronize changes.
Short version: scope, acceptance, trigger, change
These four details provide a small starting point. Leave unaccepted responsibility explicitly open. Reminders need agreement too.
Review after one round
Discuss what remained unclear and update the shared reference. Copy or print your note before closing. A list does not replace fair distribution or enough time.
A completed example
Example: one agreed shopping trip
Fictional example for illustration. Adjust times, tasks and responsibilities to your circumstances.
- What action, scope and finishing point?
- Fictional: buy the listed products for two meals planned together. This excludes a full stock check and any extra cooking assignment.
- Who accepted which part, and what is open?
- Alex prepares the ingredient list; Sam accepted buying those products. This does not settle who will cook.
- What time or trigger did we agree on?
- The list is to be ready before Sam’s planned Wednesday shopping trip. Timing and scope were discussed together.
- Where can everyone find the current agreement?
- Both use the list they agreed on and check that they can access it. This website does not automatically share the note.
- How do we discuss changes and reminders?
- Ask in the agreed thread if a product is missing or shopping moves. New requests after the agreed point need another discussion; reminders follow the agreed arrangement.
- When do we review together, and the short version?
- After shopping, check the remaining products together. Short version: scope, accepted part, trigger and change process. Do not automatically make one person responsible for maintaining every agreement.
