This week’s meals: connect choices, shopping and preparation
Which meals do you want to organize this week, and what is still missing? Start with the days that actually need a plan. Connect your own choices with ingredients you have, shopping and a next preparation step. You do not need a complete seven-day plan.

How to use the worksheet
From your actual week to the next meal
Include only meals you actually plan to organize
Note the days, people eating and time available. A blank day can stay blank. You choose suitable dishes and amounts; the worksheet does not create a nutrition plan.
Check ingredients against your choices before shopping
Check what you have yourself. Separate available ingredients from missing items and put the missing groceries on your own list. The note does not assess products, quantities or storage conditions.
Short version: next meal, missing groceries, first step
Start with just the next meal. Note what you want to buy and how preparation begins. If someone else will shop or prepare, agree that responsibility directly.
Review shopping and preparation after changes
If a day or the number of people changes, check your choices, list and time window again. The note does not place orders or send messages. Copy or print before closing.
A completed example
Example: plan two meals and leave one day open
Fictional example for illustration. Adjust times, tasks and responsibilities to your circumstances.
- Days, people and available time
- Plan for myself on Monday and two people on Wednesday. Leave Friday open. Both planned days have only a short preparation window.
- Chosen meals and undecided options
- Sandwich on Monday, vegetables with rice on Wednesday, both my own choices. Decide later whether Friday needs an entry.
- Ingredients already available: check them
- Bread and rice are available. Check which vegetables are actually there before shopping. This entry does not assess shelf life.
- Missing groceries: what, who, when?
- After checking ingredients, tomatoes are missing for my choice. Add the amount I need to my shopping list and shop after work on Tuesday.
- Next preparation step and time window
- After arriving home on Wednesday, set out the planned ingredients and cookware. Follow my chosen recipe for preparation.
- My alternative and next review
- If the time window falls through, choose a simpler meal that suits me and adjust the shopping list. On Thursday, check what remains open for the next few days.
